Tanya has over 20 years fitness industry experience. She exudes enthusiasm for motivating and educating her classes to value the potential of what their bodies can do, to train hard to great music and have FUN!! Tanya’s experience includes Tertiary lecturing in Human biosciences and fitness industry lecturing in a range of fitness certifications/water training, and as a specialist trainer in Precision Cycle, Pilates, RIP60.
Gemma left the UK in 2010 for a new life in Melbourne. She believes in living a healthy and balanced lifestyle. With exercise and nutrition as her passion, she loves to help people achieve their fitness goals and improve their health. With over seven years’ experience in group and one-on-one fitness training, Gemma brings a wealth of knowledge to the BodyCycle team. When not in the studio, she’s often found horse-riding.
Joel comes to us with many years in the fitness industry. A highly skilled multi format fitness instructor and personal trainer, Joel specializes in high intensity and freestyle programs with cycle being a major passion.
His classes are sure to impress, taking you on a true freestyle journey with uplifting music through a variety of terrains this class is about fun maximum results!
With over 15 years of experience in fitness and more then 10 years teaching cycle classes, we are very excited to have Matt at BodyCycle. Combining his knowledge of cycling and passion for fitness he creates classes that cater from the beginner to the cycle enthusiast. During his classes you'll listen to some of the latest music, learn about correct technique, more efficient ways of breathing, and how to correctly recover and stretch after the ride.
Julie’s passion for cycling began in the mid 1990’s and she has clocked up many kilometers along her journey (both outdoors and indoors). Julie enjoys helping people achieve their fitness goals no matter how big or small, and nothing pleases her more than watching them grow and develop the passion to become a committed cyclist. She brings the outdoors inside into her classes, providing realistic, safe, effective, yet fun and entertaining workouts.
Ben's whole life revolves around cycling and he's looking forward to bringing this passion to BodyCycle. Ben works at The Freedom Machine Prahran and Brighton where he specializes in bike fitting. He's also a qualified cycling coach and squeezes in 10-15 hours of training and racing a week. If you've got any questions about training, your bike position or what a bike power meter is then Ben is keen to share his knowledge.
Tash is a passionate instructor with over 20 years of experience. She has trained instructors throughout Asia, Australia and more recently in the West Indies. Tash is a regular presenter at international fitness conferences, a qualified personal trainer, a lecturer in vocational colleges teaching Certificates III & IV in Fitness, a Level 1 Triathlon Coach and is also a competitive Ironman distance triathlete.
Tony qualified as an instructor in 2000 and is as passionate today about classes as he as was back then. He combines his passion for fitness with his love for music, to create feel good classes that pack a real punch! With his 14 years experience in the fitness industry, Tony takes pride in his ability to design workouts that not only challenge experienced cyclists, but effectively cater for novice riders too.
After living thru and loving the decadent 80's (think bubblegum jeans, blue light disco and leg warmers), Nicole turned the corner into her 30's with a new focus on health, fitness and well-being. Out of a hobby grew a desire to become proficient and teach. The fashion may be long gone, but don't be surprised to hear the occasional 80’ s tragic classic tune coming thru in her class!
We have a choice – Get better or get worse! Everyone’s had tough times. Randall knows, he's been there. As an adolescent he was 55kg overweight and was lost. “When the going gets tough, the tough get going”? Randall lives that! Find a challenge, find a real challenge and watch the transformation. If you come to Randall's class you’ll realise that he's been down and busted and worked bloody hard to get better, that’s all it takes.
Olivia is from the UK but was born in India and raised in Sweden. She has been working as a fitness professional for over six years. She brings a high level of energy, passion and enthusiasm to her classes, which clients find motivating and inspiring. She loves indoor cycling and cannot get enough of it. She loves long climbs, heavy gears and sweating up a storm to some kick-ass beats!
